Lombard Service League

The Lombard Service League, which began in 1950, is affiliated with the GFWC Illinois whose mission is "an organization with international affiliation that offers a diverse membership a wide range for voluntary community service, while providing members with opportunities for education, personal development and social interactions."

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month, September through May, at 7 p.m. at Lexington Square of Lombard, 555 Foxworth Blvd.  Anyone interested in finding out more about joining, please contact Barb Madigan.

Some of the philanthropies supported by Lombard Service League include scholarships, Lombard's "Woman of the Year," the Lilac Queen and her Court, Lombard Food Pantry, First Things First Infant Needs Pantry, Family Shelter, Ray Graham Association for People With Disabilities, York Township's "Meals on Wheels" program and West Suburban Association For People With Disabilities.
