Music: 7-10 p.m.

Kids' Corner: 6-9 p.m.

Downtown Lombard (near St. Charles and Main)

Cruise Nights in Downtown Lombard are always a fun time for visitors and neighbors. Bring the family out to see some cruisin' classics and then rock the night away with some of the area's favorite musical acts. Experience unique classic cars and live musical performances at this Lombard tradition. Lombard’s Cruise Nights and Summer Concerts series is celebrating its 18th anniversary with a 2016 summer lineup that includes live bands every week and (optional) featured car themes.

Cruise Nights will return Saturday nights, 6 – 10 p.m., and will run from June 11 – August 27. There will NOT be a Cruise Night event on July 2, and in lieu of music there will be an outdoor movie hosted by Lombard Town Centre on July 16.  Residents and visitors are invited to attend this year’s Cruise Nights and Summer Concert Series to hear live music, see a large collection of classic, custom and collector cars, and to enjoy downtown Lombard. Attendees and Cruisers are reminded to not park before 4 p.m. The featured lot will be located behind the Splash Park on Lincoln, just south of St. Charles Rd. The featured lot will be open for feature cars until 6:30 p.m., and then will open to all cars.

Kids' Corner returns for its second time this year! Hosted by community groups or downtown Lombard businesses, Kids' Corner offers a fun and FREE craft or game. Stop by Kids' Corner from 6 - 9 p.m. at the southwest corner of Park Ave. and St. Charles.

The Village of Lombard is hosting a concert featuring American English, a popular Beatles tribute band, at the final 2016 Cruise Nights and Summer Concert Series event in downtown Lombard, on Saturday, August 27.

In order to accommodate the anticipated large crowd size, the location of the stage will be moved for this onetime event.

In order to accommodate residents and visitors attending the American English concert on August 27, 7 – 10 p.m., the concert stage will be set up just west of the intersection of Main Street and St. Charles Rd. A detour on St. Charles will direct traffic north one block to Grove Street. South Park Ave. between St. Charles and Michael McGuire Drive will remain a pedestrian only location, and will feature a collection of Kids’ Corner sponsors, popcorn sales from Lombard Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association, and games, snacks and information about downtown Lombard will be provided by Lombard Town Centre.

Cruise Nights is a family friendly event and is alcohol free. Concert goers are encouraged to patronize downtown Lombard’s local dining establishments to dine and consume alcohol on their premises. Attendees may arrive beginning after 4 p.m. Chairs are allowed. Port-o-let bathrooms will be available for concert goers on S. Park Ave. and Orchard Terrace. Attendees are reminded that restrooms in businesses are for customers.

Attendees are encouraged to park in the commuter parking spots at Hammerschmidt Lot, just east of the intersection of Main Street and St. Charles, and on Parkside Ave., south of the train tracks. Attendees parking on Parkside Ave. may use the Metra underpass tunnel for easy access to the concert venue area.

The concert is subject to weather conditions and there is not an alternative location or rain out date. Any updates pertaining to the concert will be made on the Village of Lombard’s Facebook pages at, and Twitter at .

Cruise Nights and Business Friendly in Lombard

The Village of Lombard is asking Cruise Nights attendees to make sure they do not park in businesses designated parking spots or block the entrances to local businesses. Cruise Nights volunteers will be walking around during the event to help make sure cruisers are respectful of businesses that remain open during the event. Thank you!

Cruise Nights seeking volunteers

The Village is also seeking additional volunteers for its 18th anniversary season. Since Cruise Nights’ inception, dedicated volunteers have helped the Village with the event. The Village is looking to expand its volunteer base in order to make sure Downtown Lombard stays clean, attendees don’t block entrances to open businesses and cruise cars park legally in the Downtown. To volunteer at any of the summer’s Cruise Nights, email the Village of Lombard Communications Coordinator.
