Lilac Time Returns to Lombard!

Lombard's most iconic time of the year, Lilac Time, returns with a full lineup of events, through May 19th. 

Community organizations will once again host an array of events for residents and visitors of all ages. 

Lilacia Park is open daily from dawn to dusk. There is no fee for entrance into the park. However, pre-registration and/or a fee may be required for certain special events. Be sure to visit the Lilac Time page for detailed information.

Lilac Time Art and Craft Fair: St. Charles Closed 

The Lilac Time Art and Craft Fair will take place on Sunday, May 4, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., in downtown Lombard. St. Charles Rd. will be closed from Main Street to Elizabeth and detours will be in place for from early morning until early evening. Please use caution when navigating the area.

Submit Your Lilac Time Photos 

To celebrate the return of Lilac Time to the community, the Village is hosting its 6th Annual Lilac Time Photo Contest. The winners will receive Yorktown gift cards and have their photos displayed on the Village's website, displayed at Village Hall, and used in future promotional materials. The contest is seeking submissions for the following: 

  • Best Lilacia Park Photo
  • Best Spirit of the Community
  • Best Lilac Time Parade Photo
Celebrating Lombard's Sesquicentennial
To celebrate Lombard's 150th Birthday, two additional categories will be featured this year including a photo utilizing "150" in a prominent and creative fashion, and photos of Lilac Times of the past. Visit for rules and details. 
Village Board Update

New Trustees to be Sworn In at Village Board Meeting 

Newly elected District Trustees for District will be sworn in at a Village Board Meeting tonight, at 7 p.m., at Village Hall.

  • Anthony Puccio will be sworn as Trustee for  District 2. 
  • Andrew Honig will be sworn in as Trustee for District 4. 
  • Dan Militello will be sworn in as Trustee for District 5. 

All Village Board Meetings are open to the public.
