Lilac Time Parade Weather Update

2019 Lilac Festival Parade: Weather Announcement

Lombard public safety personnel are currently monitoring weather forecasts for Sunday’s Lilac Festival Parade.

While rain and rain showers will not stop the parade, forecasted thunderstorms, high winds, lightning, hail, or other severe weather are grounds for parade cancellation. There will be no rescheduling or rain dates upon cancellation. If severe weather creates impacts on the parade or the parade schedule, this information will be posted on the websites and social media of the Parade Committee and Village of Lombard. Final decisions regarding potential severe weather impacts will likely not occur until the late AM Sunday, so please check for National Weather Service forecasts, watches and warnings at, look for future updates, and plan accordingly.
