The annual free leaf pick-up for Lombard residents will be October 23rd through December 1st. An unlimited number of paper bags containing only leaves may be placed curbside on the normal waste collection day without need of stickers. However, yard waste stickers are required on any cans and also for nonresidential properties. The stickers cost $1.97 each and are available at local stores and Village Hall. Waste Management runs a separate truck to bring the leaves to farm fields for composting.

The November and December Community Promotion and Tourism Committee meetings have been cancelled. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be January 9, 2018 at the Village Hall.
