Village Board of Trustees
Village Board of Trustees meetings are held the first and third Thursdays of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the Village Hall Board Room.

Board of Building Appeals
The Board of Building appeals hears cases in which there is a disagreement with the Village's interpretation of the Building Codes and reviews proposed changes in the Village Building codes. These meetings are held upon call at Village Hall.

Board of Local Improvements
The Lombard Board of Local Improvements has as its sole responsibility the establishment, development and financial supervision of any local improvements which are partially or in whole paid by Special Assessment. These meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at Village Hall.

Electrical Commission
The Electrical Commission is a standing committee of the Village Board and its core responsibilities are to prepare and recommend to the President and Board of Trustees safe and practical standards, specifications and fees for the installation, alteration and use of electrical equipment, as well as establishing reasonable rules and regulations governing the issuance of such permits. This group meets upon call.

Environmental Concerns Committee
The Environmental Concerns Committee considers and makes recommendations to the corporate authorities regarding Environmental concerns, solid waste management, grant resources and other matters referred to them by the Corporate Authorities. Finance Committee
The Finance Committee reviews, evaluates and makes recommendations to the corporate authorities on matters pertaining to the financial operation and financial reporting of the village regarding Expenditure Reports, Review of the Annual Budget, Monitoring of Revenues, Audit Procedures and Water and Sewer Service. The Finance Committee meets the 4th Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at Village Hall.

Historical Commission
The Historical Commission has the authority to recommend the designation or rejection of sites having a special historical or community interest or value, thereby making the designation as a "landmark site" or "landmark district", based on the character, interest, or value as part of the development, heritage, or cultural characteristics of the village, the architectural significance and/or archaeological importance. This committee meets quarterly on the 3rd Tuesday of January/April/July/October at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall.

Lombard Hotel and Conference Center Ad-Hoc Committee

Plan Commission
The Plan Commission of the Village of Lombard has the following authority and duties:
Review all applications for text or map amendments, review all applications for conditional uses, hold hearings thereon review all applications for companion variations made as a part of a petition for map amendment, annexation, conditional use, or plat application, hold hearings thereon, review all applications for site plan approval for planned developments, hold hearings thereon, report findings to the Board of Trustees and to approve or disapprove such petitions. Coordinate the enforcement of this ordinance with the Official Comprehensive Plan and its amendments. This group meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Village Hall Board Room.

Public Works Committee
The Public Works Committee considers and makes recommendations to the Corporate Authorities regarding Public Works standards and ordinances, and matters concerning street lighting, drainage, sewers, streets and sidewalks, forestry, subdivisions flood control and water meters. The Public Works Committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Village Hall.

Transportation & Safety Committee
The Transportation and Safety Committee is responsible for reviewing and reporting upon all methods and forms of transportation affecting the Village, including both public and private methods of transportation and regarding traffic and safety matters in the Village. They make recommendations regarding traffic and safety matters in the Village, the Traffic Code and Traffic Studies. The Committee also reviews and makes recommendations regarding complaints about traffic and/or parking issues. This group meets on the 1st Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at Village Hall.

Zoning Board of Appeals
The Lombard Zoning Board of Appeals has the following authorities and duties:
To hear appeals from any order, requirement, decision, or determination made by the Director of Community Development and prepare a recommendation to the Board of Trustees, to hear petitions for variations and prepare recommendations to the Village Board of Trustees. The ZBA meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. in the Village Hall Board Room.
