2017 Board Approved Property Tax Levy


On November 16, 2017,  the Lombard Village Board of Trustees adopted a residential tax levy increase of $212,820 or 2.37%. The increase for each $100,000 of a home's market value is $5.87; for example, for a $300,000 home, the increase would be $17.61. For more information, please read the FAQ sheet.

Tax Codes


There are approximately 30 different tax codes in Lombard and each receives a different property tax bill depending on whether the area is included within a given taxing district's boundaries (i.e. school district, township, etc.).

Property Tax Allocation

The majority of the Village’s property taxes go toward educational services, which includes Districts 87, 44, and COD 502. The remainder goes toward the Village, the Lombard Park District, DuPage County (which includes DuPage County, DuPage County Health Department, DuPage County Forest Preserve District, and DuPage Airport Authority), the Library, and York Township (which includes York Township and York Township Road).
