Senior Fair

The Village of Lombard hosts an annual Senior Fair where area senior citizens can learn about programs, events and local residence options. While attending, seniors can have their blood pressure checked by the Lombard Fire Department, get a flu shot or take advantage of free massages, snacks and giveaways. The event is hosted by the Community Relations Committee. 

The 2018 Senior Fair will take place on Wednesday, October 3, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Lombard Community Building located at Lombard Common Park.

Senior of the Year


Lombard's Senior of the Year will also be announced at approximately 10 a.m. The award aims to celebrate the accomplishments of seniors in the community. 

The winners will be selected by the Village’s Community Relations committee and receive the Village President’s Award along with a gift certificate to a local restaurant. The “Senior of the Year” award winner will also be honored by riding in the 2019 Lilac Time Parade.

With the Annual Open Enrollment period for Medicare being October 15 - December 7, Humana will have an agent available to discuss and provide information on the insurance plans available. They will also have information about the programs they offer and information flyers about health and well-being.

The Illinois Secretary of State's mobile DMV unit will be available for License renewals and State I.D.'s.

Check to see if you have any unclaimed property with the ICASH program. 

  • Jewel Osco Pharmacy

Jewel Osco Pharmacy will provide flu shots, free to seniors! Plus information on vaccinations. Each person receiving a flu shot will also receive a 10% off grocery coupon to Jewel.

Join the Lombard Kiwanis Club as a community member supporting children and their families throughout the community. Kiwanis supports PADS, DuPage, NEDSRA, Lombard Food Bank, CareNet, Healthy Lombard and other great Lombard organizations.

Will provide information on senior living options.
