Supporting Local Businesses During COVID19
Residents are reminded and encouraged to support a local business when making a purchase. Help support your community by shopping local!
Shop and dine Local Lombard!
As we continue to move forward as a community, we are excited about new opportunities to visit and shop at Lombard restaurants and businesses, and to get back to some of our favorite pastimes. Residents are strongly encouraged to choose to dine and shop locally whenever possible. It is our hope that residents will recognize the importance of supporting local businesses at this important time.

While we are headed in the right direction, COVID-19 positivity and hospitalization rates must continue to decrease in order to lift all restrictions. Let’s keep moving forward by practicing the 3 Ws: wear a mask, watch your distance, and wash your hands.
Reaching Phase 5 Requires Decrease in Positivity Rates
In order to reach Phase 5, where all COVID-19 restrictions are removed, positivity rate averages must continue to improve. The IDPH will continue to monitor the region and if positivity rates increase, additional mitigations may be needed. For updates on Region 8's positivity rates, visit the IDPH Regional online map.
