FAQs
How does this benefit me?
The proposed project will improve the drainage and drivability of the streets.
Will my road be closed?
Some minor delays during staging of personnel and equipment may temporarily block traffic during construction. However, roads in this year’s project should remain open to traffic with one lane of traffic open at all times for residents, emergency personnel, deliveries, and garbage and mail service. Through traffic will generally be discouraged.
If my driveway is inaccessible where do I park? Residents whose driveway are impacted by the construction will receive prior notice and parking permits allowing overnight parking on the street for the duration of their driveway closure.
Will my water or sewer service be affected?
Water and sewer service will not be affected by this project.

Traffic Impact: This project will have a low impact on the general motoring public, although residents on these streets having construction will be highly impacted by the work being done. Residents should exercise caution when approaching any construction traffic. Alternate routes are encouraged for non-residents. Highlighted streets will have brief temporary lane reductions/closures allowing for staging of personnel and equipment and concrete work. Closures will be maintained during concrete curing (typically 3-5 days). No detours will be posted as part of this work.
Construction Updates
10/21/21 - Finley Road between Hickory and Wilson will be detoured to Edson starting 10/22 for concrete pavement replacement.
