Village wide Patching 

This Project Includes: The removal of the existing concrete street and replacing with new concrete curb and gutter and new concrete roadway. Also included is upgrading driveways, deteriorated sidewalk, crosswalks to meet current ADA standards, and all other necessary improvements needed to complete the above named street repairs.

Project Schedule: April 17 to August 31

Traffic Impact: This project will have a minimal impact on the general motoring public, however, residents of affected streets will be greatly impacted by the work being done. Alternate routes are encouraged for non-residents. No detours will be posted as part of this work.

How does this benefit me?
The proposed project will improve the drainage and drivability of the impacted streets

Will my road be closed?
The roads in this year’s project will be closed to through traffic however, they will have one lane of traffic open at all times for residents, emergency personnel, deliveries, and garbage and mail service.

If my driveway is inaccessible where do I park?
Residents whose driveways are impacted by the construction will receive parking passes that will allow them to park overnight on side streets for the duration of their driveway closure. 

Will my water or sewer service be affected?
Water and sewer service will not be affected by this project
Construction Updates

6/16/17 - Monday Morning, June 19, the contractor will be closing the outer lane of southbound Highland Ave in front of Allerton Ridge Cemetery. The closure will begin at the traffic signal at the entrance to the cemetery and will extend to the end of the work zone. Once the concrete has cured the outer lane will be opened to traffic.

6/14/17 - Construction will begin June 15th on the 300 block of N. Kramer from View to Pleasant and the 300 block of N. Clarendon from the dead end at Vista Pond to Pleasant. During the first phase of the construction the North bound lane will be closed on both streets and traffic will be one-way south bound on both roads. The first phase will take approximately two weeks. Once the concrete has cured, construction will begin on the southbound lanes. Traffic will be flipped and will be one way northbound. This phase should also take approximately two weeks.
