[ARCHIVED] Lombard Police continue investigations of homicide

Lombard Police continue investigations after a Lombard man was shot and killed in his home in the early hours of June 24th.  When officers arrived to the home on the 200th block of West 17th Street, they found 32-year-old Brian Haddad suffering from a single gunshot wound.  Haddad later succumb to his injuries and his death has been ruled a homicide. 

Lombard Police have stated that there is no specific information at this time that there is any immediate threat to anyone in the neighborhood or community. The Lombard Police Department and DuPage County Major Crimes Task Force are actively investigating this incident and therefore no additional details are being made available at this time.   Anyone with information or security footage in the area is encouraged to contact the Lombard Police Department directly at (630) 873-4400. 

Lombard Police are saddened by this tragic event and wish to extend their deepest condolences to the Haddad family.
