The Lombard Village Board recently approved a Restructuring Support Agreement between the Village and the Lombard Public Facilities Corporation (LPFC) and other key stakeholders at its July 25, 2017 meeting.
The restructuring is not expected to have any impact on events or operations at the hotel and conference center.
“I want it to be very clear to our residents that the Village does not own the facility. It is owned by the LPFC which is a completely separate entity from the Village of Lombard,” said Village Manager Scott Niehaus. “The restructuring of the LPFC’s debt will allow the hotel to continue to be an economic anchor for the Yorktown area, Lombard, and surrounding locations. It’s good news.”
