The Village of Lombard is announcing that the redevelopment proposals related to 101 S. Main Street will be discussed at the upcoming October 8 meeting of the Village’s Economic and Community Development Committee, or ECDC.
The meeting will take place at Village Hall, 255 E. Wilson Ave., at 7 p.m.
The decision to move the topic from the September meeting to the October meeting was made to help provide developers ample time to collect accurate and up to date information to questions posed by ECDC members and the public at their August 13, 2018 meeting.
In a memo dated August 28, 2018, Chair of the ECDC and Village Trustee Bill Johnston said, “Given that both entities are not ready to provide all of the requested information and data for a timely consideration by the ECDC, I am recommending that further consideration of the proposals be tabled to the October 8, 2018 meeting.”
The Village issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) in February 2018 and received four proposals, two of which are proceeding. They include mixed use residential/commercial options from Holladay Properties and Luxica, Inc.
