This year, the Village of Lombard will host a Services for Seniors event focused on offering seniors access to on-site services. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Madison Meadow Athletic Center, 500 E. Wilson Avenue.
Local agencies will be present to provide basic health services for seniors on-site, which will include: blood pressure screenings, flu shots, hearing screenings, COVID-19 vaccines, balance screenings, fall-risk assessments, glucose screenings, DMV services and additional senior services.
Unlike past Senior Fair events, this year's Services for Seniors Event will be reduced in scale and limited solely to a selection of available on-site services. Commercial and civic organization vendors will not be present in person on-site, although their literature, contact information, and giveaways will be aggregated and made available to attendees collectively. Light refreshments will be available.
