[ARCHIVED] Fourth of July Fireworks

fourth of july event image

Lombard’s Fourth of July Fireworks are scheduled for this Thursday, July 4th, at dusk (approximately 9:30 p.m.) at Madison Meadow Park! Parking restrictions will be in place around the park from noon until midnight on July 4th. Visitors are encouraged to use free shuttle buses from Madison Meadow Elementary School, Glenbard East High School, and Pleasant Lane School, beginning at 7 p.m. For more information including maps, visit www.villageoflombard.org/fourthofjuly.

While the current forecast calls for only a slight chance of rain at dusk on Thursday evening, we are continuing to keep an eye on the weather. Although light rain will not stop the fireworks display, severe weather including thunderstorms, high winds, lightning, hail or other are grounds for adjusting the shoot time or postponing the event. Should severe weather create a potential impact on the event, information will be posted on the Village’s website, Facebook and Twitter pages.
