Rehabilitation of sanitary sewer manholes will not affect the sanitary sewer system and customers will see no disruption in service. However, equipment and personnel will be in the vicinity and temporary lane reductions may be established.  If impacts are more extensive, you may be contacted by Village staff or the Contractor.

The 2022 program includes approximately 109 manholes at various locations throughout the Village. These manholes were previously inspected and found to require some type of repair. The work will address numerous deficiencies such as; deteriorated concrete surfaces, repairing cracks that allow infiltration of groundwater/stormwater, and improving the bottom of the structure (invert/bench) to ensure the proper flow of sewage through the structure.  Some manholes may involve multiple visits depending upon what specific repair(s) are required.
