Shop Local Whenever Possible Residents are strongly encouraged to choose to dine and shop locally whenever possible. Residents who spend tax dollars in town not only support our remarkable small businesses but those dollars are reinvested in the community in impactful ways.
It is estimated that for every $100 spent at a locally-owned business, $73 remains in the local economy. Compared to the same $100 spent at a non-locally owned business, where only $43 remains in the local economy.
