Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over: Holiday Crackdown

From Friday, Dec. 20 – Wednesday, Jan. 1, Lombard Police Officers will be out in full force, seeking out alcohol and drug-impaired drivers. Law enforcement will show zero tolerance for drunk or drugged driving.

Efforts to reduce impaired driving on our roads include an increased number of state and national messages about the dangers of impaired driving, combined with more officers enforcing live-saving seat belt, speeding and distracted driving laws.

water billing

Water Billing Changes January 1

As a reminder, water customers will experience changes to water bills effective January 1, 2020.

  • Bills will be visually redesigned to improve readability.
  • Bills will be sent monthly on the 3rd and will be due on the 24th.
  • A new $5 capital fee will be implemented on each monthly bill. This revenue will help pay for Lombard’s aging infrastructure that needs to be replaced in order to continue to provide clean and safe drinking water into the future.
You can find more information, including how to sign up for auto pay at villageoflombard.org/waterbilling. If you have any questions, please email waterbilling@villageoflombard.org or call (630)620-5920.
