COVID 19 Stay at Home Order

Stay-at-Home Order Extended

On April 23, 2020, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker announced his intention to issue a modified version of the current Stay-At-Home Mandate.  The order is anticipated to extend the current State Stay-At-Home order through May 30th with certain modifications.

The Village will review the details of the recently announced modified order and will share information on how these new rules could impact businesses or the Lombard community upon its release.   Information on the Executive order will be shared on our social platforms (Facebook & Twitter) and at villageoflombard.org/covid19.

Updates from the State of Illinois regarding COVID-19 are made available at illinois.coronavirus.gov.

Main Street Project Begins

Main Street Improvement Project

The Main Street Improvement Project will begin 4/27 with notable activity in early May. The project includes the resurfacing of Main Street from Wilson Ave. to St. Charles Rd. Pedestrian crossing improvements include the Maple Street intersection and the Illinois Prairie Path crossing.

Due to temporary lane closures and associated construction work, motorists are reminded to follow traffic signage and exercise caution within the work zone. No road closures are anticipated, and the project is scheduled for completion by early August. More information including a presentation can be found at villageoflombard.org/main.
