This action is pending continued trends of decreased COVID-19 statistics. Specific details on the implementation of how Phase 3 will be subject to rules from the Illinois Department of Public Health that have not yet been announced. The Village will continue to share information and updates about how Phase 3 will affect local businesses; however, the following is anticipated to be allowed, upon entry to Phase 3, beginning May 29th:
- Restaurants Reopening for Outdoor Seating
Restaurants are anticipated to be allowed to reopen for outdoor dining, with social distancing and additional restrictions in place. Detailed regulations will be shared when they are made available. The Village will work with local restaurants in efforts to come up with creative solutions in which businesses can reopen within the guidelines of the Reopen Illinois Plan. Changes to services will be reflected on Lombard's Shop Local Interactive Map.
- Village Hall Reopening with Restrictions
It is anticipated that Village Hall will reopen for in person service with limited hours on June 1. Residents are still encouraged to conduct Village business online, over the phone, or via email. This includes paying bills, applying for permits, and report a concern.
