Main Street Construction Update


Main Street construction continues this weekend, with milling and an asphalt prime coat (paving oil). Lane closures are required and motorists are reminded to drive slow, watch for workers on the road, and to seek alternate routes if possible.

The DuPage County Clerk's Office is sharing information regarding voting. Due to COVID-19, all 2020 General Election voters are encouraged to cast a ballot prior to Election Day, either by mail or during early voting.

2020 census

2020 Census: Get Counted Lombard!


One out of four residents still need to complete the 2020 Census! If you already completed yours, you can challenge your friends and family to make sure they’ve also completed the Census! Help fund schools, hospitals, roads, social services and more! Take the Census at www.my2020census.gov. Reminder: Federal Census takers will be visiting homes of people who haven’t completed their Census beginning August 11th. 


Help Prevent the Spread of Illness: Stay Home if Sick


The State of Illinois recently announced that increased restrictions will apply in the event that COVID-19 numbers spike in designated regions. Help keep Lombard (Region 8) open by following health and safety reminders from the CDC.

The DuPage County Health Department COVID-19 dashboard, shows the number of lab-confirmed COVID-19
cases in each municipality. As of July 31, there have been a total of 530 lab confirmed cases in Lombard. 

The best way you can protect yourself is to socially distance yourself from people outside of your home, and limit your potential exposure. Wash your hands regularly, for 20 seconds, using soap, and do not touch your face with unwashed hands.
