Village Office Hours
Village Offices will be closed Nov. 26th and 27th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Offices will reopen for regular business hours on Monday, Nov. 30th. As a reminder, Village Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Village Hall is open to the public Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Waste Management Holiday Schedule
Waste Management will be operating on a holiday schedule. Thursday and Friday pick up will be delayed by one day.

COVID-19 Mobile Testing Site in Village Hall Parking Lot, Friday, 11/27

The Village of Lombard will be hosting a free, one-day mobile COVID-19 testing site, in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Public Health, in the parking lot at Village Hall, 255 E. Wilson Ave., on Friday, November 27th, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., while supplies last. Residents that are not participating in testing are advised to avoid the area if possible.

Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Thanksgiving

While more families may be celebrating at home this year, Thanksgiving is traditionally one of the busiest travel times of the year and the Lombard Police Department is reminding motorists to buckle up and drive sober to ensure that everyone celebrates safely.

The Lombard Police Department will have extra enforcements on the road through the early morning hours of Nov. 30th, cracking down on drunk and impaired drivers, and seatbelt violators.

Thanksgiving Cooking Safety Reminders from Lombard Fire Dept.

More cooking fires occur on Thanksgiving Day, than any other day of the year. But with preparation and common sense, many home cooking fires can be avoided.

To help keep you and your family safe this holiday, the Lombard Fire Department is sharing cooking safety tips.

Prevent Thefts with the 9 p.m. Routine

Lombard Police have received reports of vehicle break-ins. Prevent car burglaries with the 9 p.m. routine! Remove valuables from your car, lock your car, lock your house doors/windows, & turn on exterior lights every night.
