The Village of Lombard is wishing you and your family a very safe and happy holiday season! 

Office Hours
Village of Lombard Offices are closed on Thursday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 25 for the Christmas holiday, and on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 for New Year’s Day.

Regular office hours are Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Please note that due to COVID-19, Village Hall is open to the public Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Please call (630)620-5700 for assistance.

Waste Management 
Waste Management will be operating on a holiday schedule for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Pick-up that is regularly scheduled for these holidays will be delayed by one day.

Lombard Police have extra patrols on the road, through Jan. 4th, cracking down on impaired driving.

Whether or you're traveling down the road or across town, buckle up and drive sober - every trip - every time.

Wreaths with red lights are on display at Lombard Fire Stations. If a fire occurs due to a holiday decoration, a light will be turned white. Follow these safety tips to help Keep the Wreath Red Lombard!

The Lombard Police Department is sharing holiday shopping reminders about the importance of keeping safety in mind this holiday season. Whether shopping online or in person, these tips will help to keep you and your family safe.

To help support our local economy, residents are encouraged to purchase goods, items, and services from local businesses whenever possible.

Holiday Light Recycling and Free Tree Pick-up  


Light Recycling Through Jan. 18 
Old or unwanted holiday lights may be dropped off in a bin at Lombard Public Works, 1051 S. Hammerschmidt Avenue, to be recycled by Elgin Recycling. The light collection will run through January 18th. Lights should be placed in the bin located in front of the building and is accessible at any hour. Remove plastic ornamentals and bags from the wiring to prevent entangling in the processing machinery. 

Free Holiday Tree Pick Up  
Residents may place holiday trees, free of tinsel and decorations, at their curbsides, January 4-15, for free disposal.
