Distracted Driving Awareness Month

There's no such thing as "safe multi-tasking" when you're driving a car. Texting or talking on the phone can distract a motorist. Reaction times slow down when a driver is multi-tasking, which increases the chance of an accident.

April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month across the nation, and the Lombard Police Department is urging drivers to drop their phones and focus on the road.
