Recognizing National Public Works Week


In accordance with the tradition of the American Public Works Association, those who work in professions that provide and maintain public facilities and services are honored during National Public Works Week.

Public works professionals include those who manage water, sewer, public transportation, and refuse removal systems as well as those responsible for maintaining public buildings and grounds. Recognizing National EMS Week

Happy National EMS Week! The Lombard Fire Department is recognizing 32 paramedics with a combined 410 years of service! This includes 8 paramedics who have completed 5 years of service, 10 paramedics for 10 years of service , 8 paramedics for 15 years of service,  1 paramedic for 20 years, 4 paramedics for 25 years, and 1 paramedic with 30 years of service!

2021 Lilac Time Photo Contest Submissions Due May 31st


The Village is seeking submissions for the 2021 Lilac Time Photo Contest. The deadline for submissions is May 31st. Judging of this year's contest will focus on photos that best feature lilacs. The contest is open to Village of Lombard residents and visitors. 

Entries must be submitted by the photographer of the image and require a signed release form. Please visit villageoflombard.org/photocontest for complete rules.
