Fourth of July Fireworks Display Lombard’s Fourth of July Fireworks are scheduled for this Sunday, July 4th at dusk (approximately 9:30 p.m.) at Madison Meadow Park. Parking restrictions will be in place around the park from noon until midnight on July 4th. Shuttles are not available this year and visitors that require parking are reminded to please allow for extra time to find street parking.
While the current forecast looks promising, we continue to monitor the weather. Light rain will not stop the fireworks display but severe weather including thunderstorms, high winds, lightning, hail or other extreme weather conditions are grounds for adjusting the shoot time or postponing the event. Check the Village’s social media for the latest news and updates.

Firework Safety Reminders from Lombard Fire The Lombard Fire Department is reminding residents that not only are fireworks illegal - they're also extremely dangerous. From June 21 - July 21, 2019, an estimated 10,000 fireworks-related injuries were reported, with 7,300 requiring treatment in hospital emergency departments. The discharging of fireworks including firecrackers, bottle rockets, and Roman candles is not allowed in Illinois under state regulations, and is a violation of state law and Village ordinances. Novelty fireworks, such as snakes, sparklers, and party-poppers are not regulated by the state. Residents are strongly reminded to take extra precautions to help stay safe this Fourth of July.
