Police Activity Update - 10:20 AM

Police remain on scene in the area of St. Charles Road and Lincoln Avenue as they continue to investigate an attempted armed robbery at a local business and discharge of a firearm.  Two suspects fled the scene and are currently in custody.  There is no active threat to the public and no injuries have been reported.  A police presence and road closures in the area will remain for some time as police continue their investigation.

Please note, the police activity in the area of North Avenue and Bloomingdale Road in Glendale Heights is unrelated.
