Members of Lombard Fire Department Recognized for Saving a Resident's Life
On Wednesday, January 5, 2022, five members of the Lombard Fire Department were recognized for their actions in helping to save Mr. Seay, an otherwise healthy 54-year-old Lombard resident, after suffering sudden cardiac arrest in his home last month.
At the ceremony, Firefighters/Paramedics Tyler Gunn, John Trapani, Nathanael Noon, Dan Campbell, and Lt. Tony Sally received a Clinical Save Award and met with Mr. Seay.
“If it wasn’t for the forward-thinking of the Village of Lombard, the Fire Department, and the ongoing training that everyone has committed themselves to, I wouldn’t be here today. I am just one example of your dedication, your ongoing training, and your commitment to your profession. I can’t thank you enough, from the bottom of my heart, I am here today because of you,” commented Mr. Seay.
