Shop Small, Shop LocalThis Small Business Saturday, Nov. 26, is a day dedicated to supporting the independent businesses that make our communities unique and provide valuable contributions to our economy. Residents who spend tax dollars in town not only support small businesses, but those dollars are reinvested in the community in impactful ways.
It is estimated that for every $100 spent at a locally-owned business, $73 remains in the local economy. Compared to the same $100 spent at a non-locally owned business, where only $43 remains in the local economy.
Support small businesses in Lombard, shop local this holiday season and beyond!
