Report Potholes and Other Concerns with SeeClickFix

The Village has launched a new online reporting platform called SeeClickFix. This tool allows users to report their concerns directly to the Village by using an online map or smartphone app.

SeeClickFix is an easy way to report non-emergency issues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Use SeeClick Fix to report concerns such as potholes, street lights, graffiti, sidewalk trip hazards, storm drain issues, code violations, and more. Simply take a photo of the problem (or just enter a brief description), and Village staff will address the issue. You will get an update via email on what is being done to resolve your reported concern.

View this SeeClickFix Video and learn more on the Village's Report a Concern page.

Hammerschmidt Commuter Parking Lot Closed During Winter Months

Due to low demand and to minimize plowing and salting of the commuter facilities during winter storms, the Hammerschmidt Commuter Parking Lot will be closed beginning December 1, 2022, and will not be maintained for the winter. Consistent with last year’s closure, the lot will reopen in the spring.

Commuter parking is still available in the St. Charles East Lot, the Parkside East Lot, the Parkside West Lot and the Park-Elizabeth Lot.

Holiday Light Recycling

Do you have old, broken or unwanted holiday lights? The Village of Lombard has partnered with Elgin Recycling to offer free holiday light recycling through Jan. 16th, 2023.

An outdoor collection bin located outside of Lombard Public Works, 1051 S. Hammerschmidt Ave, is available at any hour of the day to recycle your old holiday lights, extension cords and scrap wiring.

Please remove any ornaments and bags to prevent entangling in the processing machinery. Plastic bags and other films should also never be included in curbside recycling for the same reason.
