Save the Date: Lombard's Annual Senior Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 4th The Village of Lombard invites residents to join the 17th Annual Senior Fair, taking place on Wednesday, October 4th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Madison Meadow Athletic Center (500 E. Wilson Ave).
This year's event will have over 70 vendors participating, offering a range of services, including blood pressure screenings, flu shots, hearing screenings, DMV services, and more! Complimentary refreshments, including coffee and snacks, will be provided during the event, and the Lombard Park District will be offering free all-day passes to the facility.

Fire Department Hosts Annual Pink T-Shirt Fundraiser The Lombard Fire Department and Lombard Firefighters Union 3009 are once again hosting their popular pink t-shirt fundraiser to raise funds for Bhorade Cancer Care Center at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Shirts will be available for purchase on Sunday, October 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lombard Fire Station 45, located at 50 E St. Charles Road in Lombard. Each shirt is priced at $20, and all proceeds will be directed toward supporting cancer patients at the Bhorade Cancer Care Center.
In 2022, the Lombard Fire Department achieved great success by raising $4,600 through the pink t-shirt fundraiser. Since its inception in 2014, this initiative has contributed a total of $25,550 to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, strengthening its essential work in the fight against cancer.

Suicide continues to be a persistent threat to our community as DuPage County has averaged 94 deaths per year to suicide over the past 5 years, according to data from the DuPage County Coroner.

- Mobile Crisis Response – Mobile Crisis Response in DuPage County is available 24/7 for youth and adults at the location of the crisis and can be accessed at (630) 627-1700. Mobile crisis staff will provide support to manage the crisis, explore service needs, and provide necessary resources.
- Crisis Residential – Crisis Residential is a 24/7, 12-bed unit that provides short-term crisis stabilization services for adults in DuPage County. Services can be accessed by calling (630) 627-1700.
