FAQ’s
How does this benefit me? The proposed project will improve the drainage and drivability of the streets.
Will my road be closed? Highland Ave. from St. Charles Rd. to Division St. will be periodically closed during working hours (7am to 5pm) to facilitate this part of the construction project. Outside of these hours,Highland Ave. will be open to northbound traffic only.
At the other locations, some minor delays during the staging of personnel and equipment may temporarily block traffic during construction. However, these roads should remain open to traffic with one lane of traffic open at all times for residents, emergency personnel, deliveries, and garbage and mail service. Through traffic will generally be discouraged.
If my driveway is inaccessible where do I park? Residents whose driveway are impacted by the construction will receive prior notice and parking permits allowing overnight parking on the street for the duration of their driveway closure
Will my water or sewer service be affected? Water and sewer service will not be affected by this project.
