Project: The scope of this project includes reconstruction of the existing junction chamber on 22^nd Street, just west of Highland Avenue. 
Project Limits: Westbound lanes of 22^nd Street from Highland Avenue to Main Street.

How does this benefit me?  The proposed project will reconstruct an aging sanitary sewer manhole. This will improve the flow of the sanitary sewer and ensure the functioning of the sanitary sewer system.
Will 22^nd Street be closed?  Yes. 22^nd Street will be closed from Highland Avenue to Main Street in order to safely and efficiently perform the necessary work. There will be a marked detour when the roadway section is closed.
What are the details on the detour?  Timeframe = October 26, 2023 through November 17, 2023. (updated 10/13/23)

NB Highland Avenue to WB 22^nd Street = Janata Boulevard to Main Street
SB Highland Avenue to WB 22^nd Street = 17^th Street to Main Street
WB 22^nd Street = SB Highland Avenue to Janata Boulevard to Main Street
EB 22^nd Street traffic = No change

I live on 22^nd Street will I have access to my driveway?  Residents living on 22^nd Street will have access to their driveways. Please use caution during work hours (7am – 4pm) as there will be construction traffic throughout these hours.
I live on 22^nd Street how will this affect my garbage and refuse pick-up?  There will still be garbage & recycling services provided. The Village will be in contact with Waste Management and coordinate the location of the residents’ bins on pickup days.
Will my water or sewer service be affected?  Water and sewer service will not be affected by this project.
