road closed at railroad (JPG)

The Village Has been notified that Union Pacific Northwest Railroad will require the COMPLETE closure of the Grace Street/St Charles Rd. Railroad crossing, Friday, November 6 - Sunday, November 8,  for an unplanned improvement project.

The detour will utilize the Main Street underpass and Parkside Ave.

The Village’s water main project will continue to require southbound Grace to remain closed through November 5, as planned, prior to the UP work. The Village sought to coordinate the work to minimize the disruption to the public, however based on scheduling and traffic control issues, the Village and Union Pacific Railroad were not able to have the work conducted simultaneously.
